Returns & Cancellation

Effective & updated: 21 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-21

1. Current preview

You can browse sample records, save products and use invited workspaces. A saved item, RFQ or pilot order record does not charge you. If someone requests payment for a current sample listing, contact us to verify it before paying.

The following explains the approach for future activated offers. The seller, return address, delivery details and any lawful product-specific exception must be provided before an actual purchase. Do not send goods to our registered office without return instructions; it is not advertised as a returns warehouse.

2. UK consumer cancellation

Where the statutory right applies to an online purchase of goods, a UK consumer can notify the contracting seller of cancellation within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason, and then has a further 14 days to send them back. Other lawful time calculations can apply to split deliveries.

The seller must return the payment and ordinary outbound delivery cost as required by law. For goods, a refund may normally be withheld until the goods are received back or evidence of sending them is provided, whichever is earlier, and must then be made within the statutory time. A premium delivery upgrade need not be refunded beyond the ordinary delivery cost.

3. Return costs, handling and faults

Responsibility for the direct cost of a change-of-mind return must be disclosed before purchase. Any lawful reduction for diminished value must relate to handling beyond what is needed to inspect the goods. Opening packaging to inspect an ordinary product does not automatically remove the right to cancel.

Faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or unsuitable goods can give rise to separate statutory remedies, including rejection, repair, replacement or refund as applicable. A change-of-mind exception or expired manufacturer warranty does not remove those rights. Report a suspected safety issue promptly and stop using a product if continued use could cause harm.

4. Exceptions, services and digital content

Some legally defined purchases have different cancellation rules, such as genuinely personalised goods, certain perishables, or sealed hygiene products after the seal is broken. We will not apply a blanket ‘no refunds’ rule. Any applicable exception must be identified for the actual offer before purchase.

Services and immediately supplied digital content have different rules. Any request to start during a cooling-off period and any legally required acknowledgement about losing a cancellation right must be obtained separately at the relevant time. Accepting the platform’s general terms alone does not provide that consent.

5. Business and international purchases

Business purchases follow the cancellation and returns arrangements in the agreed commercial contract, subject to applicable law. Personal consumer rights do not automatically extend to wholly business purchases. For customers outside the UK, mandatory local rights continue to apply where relevant; availability is determined country by country.

6. How to raise a request

Contact the seller identified in an actual order confirmation, or use our Contact page for help. Include your name, order reference, goods or service, date ordered or received, and the outcome requested. State clearly if you are cancelling; you do not need to use special wording where the law permits any clear statement.

Optional cancellation wording: ‘I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following goods or services: [description]. Ordered on / received on: [date]. Order reference: [reference]. Name and address: [details]. Date: [date].’ A signature is needed only if this notice is sent on paper. Include personal details only in your private message or letter, not in a public review.

Use the billing or retail department for order-related enquiries. We will not ask for a bank password or full card details to process a legitimate request. This page and the Terms & Conditions do not limit your statutory remedies.
